What should you say/do when someone tells you, “You’re getting too skinny,” when you’ve lost weight and still feel that you have some pounds

Great question – my situation is almost identical to yours (250 to 175 with a goal of 170), and I face this all the time. I usually respond that my BMI will be in the middle of the healthy range when I reach my goal.  Surprisingly, or maybe not, most of the people that comment that I'm too skinny have BMIs above, or significantly above, the healthy range.  Not that BMI is the be-all and end-all, and it has numerous issues, but I'd prefer not to say "fat"…

What should you say/do when someone tells you, "You're getting too skinny," when you've lost weight and still feel that you have some pounds to lose?
